The village of  Miabi /Tshilenge lacks infrastructure of water supply and basic sanitation management at household and sufficient Community. The access rate of drinking water is estimated at around 9%.

79% of households in this part of province have income below the poverty line. In Tshilenge, the diamonds make some groups rich but not the population. The smallness of income generated by the mining activities for many rural households limited the transfer of investment from the mining to agricultural sector and the capacity of mining actor to demand agricultural product.

The agriculture is still characterized by the technologies of lower or intermediate quality and consequently rural households are unable to restore land made improper for agriculture by the mining activity. The agriculture remains in a negative yield area.

Education sector is under equipped. In some schools children are learning under the trees. Some schools lack roofs, windows or doors. Children are not attending schools because they have to walk long distance to search for water to drink.
